Pharmacist

Dispense medicines as per valid prescriptions with accuracy Verify prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and contraindications Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, and side effects Maintain proper storage conditions for medicines and cold-chain drugs Manage pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiry dates Prepare and maintain pharmacy records and documentation Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Act, Drug & Cosmetics Act, and hospital SOPs Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and hospital staff Handle narcotic and controlled drugs as per regulations Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pharmacy area Qualifications & Experience: Qualification: D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm Registration: Registered with State Pharmacy Council (mandatory) Experience: Fresher or 1–3 years experience in hospital/retail pharmacy preferred Skills & Competencies: Good knowledge of medicines and drug interactions Attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills (billing/software knowledge preferred) Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in shifts Working Hours: As per hospital shift schedule
