Pharmacist – Job Description

Role Overview:
A Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medicines accurately, ensuring safe usage of drugs, and providing guidance to patients on proper medication and health care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medicines as per doctor’s instructions.
• Check prescriptions for accuracy and dosage.
• Explain proper usage, side effects, and storage of medicines to patients.
• Maintain stock of medicines and monitor expiry dates.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and safety standards.
• Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff when required.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of medicines and drug interactions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer and billing knowledge.

Qualification:

• Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy (D. Pharm / B .Pharm).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
