JOB SUMMARY

A Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing prescriptions, dispensing medications accurately, ensuring safe drug usage, and providing guidance to patients and medical staff. The role ensures compliance with pharmacy laws, safety standards, and proper inventory control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and validate prescriptions for accuracy and legality
• Dispense medicines with correct dosage and instructions
• Check for drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and side effects
• Coordinate with doctors and nurses regarding prescriptions
• Maintain pharmacy records and documentation
• Monitor and manage medicine inventory and expiry dates
• Ensure proper storage of drugs and temperature control
• Supervise pharmacy assistants and technicians
• Follow regulatory and safety guidelines
• Handle controlled drugs as per legal requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and dosages
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and patient counseling skills
• Decision-making and problem-solving ability
• Inventory and record management
• Computer and billing software knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS

• D.Pharm / B.Pharm
• Valid pharmacist license/registration (as per state council rules)
• Minimum 2 year Exeperience
• Freshers can Apply
