About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our multi speciality hospital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring patient safety, and supporting clinical teams with pharmaceutical expertise. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
• Dispense medications and provide clear instructions to patients and caregivers
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of medicines
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock levels of pharmaceutical supplies
• Monitor drug expiry dates and ensure timely replenishment
• Counsel patients on dosage, side effects, interactions, and precautions
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff regarding medication therapy
• Maintain proper documentation and billing records
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and pharmacy regulations
• Handle emergency medication requirements efficiently

Required Qualifications

• B.Pharm / D.Pharm / M.Pharm from a recognized institution
• Valid Pharmacist Registration License
• Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and drug regulations
• Familiarity with hospital management systems (HMS) is an added advantage

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and dosage calculations
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and patient counseling skills
• Ability to work in rotational shifts
