Pharmacist

Job Description: Pharmacist (PharmD / B.Pharm)

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Pharmacist (PharmD / B.Pharm) to join our hospital team. The Pharmacist will ensure safe, accurate, and effective medication management while supporting physicians and healthcare staff in delivering optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, dosage, contraindications, and drug interactions
• Dispense medications in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Monitor patient drug therapy and provide clinical recommendations when necessary
• Counsel patients and caregivers regarding medication use, dosage, side effects, and precautions
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe treatment outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient medication records
• Oversee proper storage, labeling, and inventory management of medications, including controlled substances
• Participate in medication safety and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• PharmD or B.Pharm degree from a recognized institution
• Valid state pharmacy license/registration
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and clinical pharmacy practices
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Salary:

• Fixed and commensurate with the candidate’s qualification and relevant experience
