Pharmacist

Job Title: Pharmacist – Eye Hospital
Qualification: D.Pharm / B.Pharm
Location: Nadapuram
Experience: 1–3 years (Eye hospital experience preferred)

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to manage and dispense medications efficiently in our eye hospital. The candidate will ensure proper storage, dispensing, and inventory management of medicines while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately as per doctor’s prescription
• Provide proper guidance to patients on dosage, usage, and precautions
• Maintain pharmacy stock, expiry tracking, and inventory control
• Ensure proper storage of medicines as per standards
• Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding prescriptions
• Maintain billing, records, and daily pharmacy reports
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies
• Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving medicines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pharmacy
• Follow NABH and quality standards

Eligibility Criteria

• D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution
• Valid Pharmacy Council Registration
• Good knowledge of medicines and dispensing procedures
• Basic computer knowledge for billing and stock entry
• Good communication and patient handling skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in hospital or eye hospital pharmacy
• Knowledge of ophthalmic medicines and surgical consumables
• Ability to work in shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
