Pharmacist Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and pharmacy practices.

Duties

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
• Effectively and efficiently communicate with patients to furnish medications and over the counter orders
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions.
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceuticals appropriately.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for effective communication with patients and healthcare team members.
