Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Pharmacy Operations

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by supervising, monitoring, and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of services delivered by pharmacy staff.
  • Oversee accurate dispensing of all medications, including controlled substances and insurance-related prescriptions.
  • Adhere to insurance protocols with timely documentation, communication, and follow-up.
  • Maintain compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring the pharmacy facility and staff licensing are valid, renewed, and up to date.

Staff Management & Training

  • Manage staffing activities such as interviewing prospective employees, conducting performance appraisals and reviews, and addressing complaints and grievances.
  • Prepare and manage daily duty rosters, ensuring appropriate coverage and smooth operations.
  • Provide or arrange training and development programs to enhance staff skills and performance.

Customer & Vendor Relations

  • Identify current and future customer needs by building rapport with potential and existing customers and stakeholders.
  • Strengthen customer relationships to maximize sales and margin returns.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with vendors and shippers to ensure timely supply and strong partnerships.

Sales, Marketing & Store Performance

  • Implement effective sales and marketing strategies across all product ranges, including coordination with vendors and manufacturers on in-store displays and promotional activities.
  • Organize special promotions, events, and visual merchandising initiatives to enhance store attractiveness and sales.
  • Analyze sales figures, forecast future performance, and interpret market trends to support business planning.
  • Develop and execute business strategies to expand customer base, increase store traffic, and optimize profitability.
  • Prepare annual budgets, monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Achieve all assigned targets and drive business initiatives to exceptional levels.
  • Provide regular updates to the Area Manager on business performance, new initiatives, and relevant operational matters.

Store Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure adherence to company policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Maintain excellent store conditions and visual merchandising standards.
  • Participate in assigned projects that involve industry organizations, supply chain initiatives, and other special assignments.

Self-Management

  • Set annual performance goals in consultation with the reporting manager and ensure timely achievement throughout the year.
  • Take ownership of personal development by identifying growth needs, building an individual development plan, and pursuing continuous learning beyond formal training.
  • Stay updated on professional developments, new techniques, and industry trends through ongoing education.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
  • DHA License
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist and Store Manager in the UAE
  • Strong communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
