Pharmacist – Medical Center Pharmacy

We are looking for an (Arabic Speaking) licensed Pharmacist with experience in handling insurance prescriptions to join our team, located within a medical center environment.

The ideal candidate should be experienced in handling insurance claims, prescription verification, and patient counseling, while also having strong awareness of pharmacy sales, cross-selling, and upselling to enhance patient care and pharmacy revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and dispense prescriptions accurately according to medical and insurance guidelines
• Process insurance claims and approvals through insurance platforms
• Handle rejected claims, resubmissions, and required documentation
• Coordinate with doctors and clinic staff regarding prescriptions and insurance approvals
• Provide professional patient counseling on medications and treatment plans
• Recommend appropriate OTC products, supplements, or alternatives when suitable
• Apply cross-selling and upselling techniques to improve patient outcomes and pharmacy sales
• Ensure compliance with DOH / DHA regulations and pharmacy standards
• Maintain proper documentation for prescriptions and insurance submissions
• Support daily pharmacy operations including inventory awareness and product availability

Requirements

• Licensed Pharmacist (DOH / DHA / MOH eligibility or license preferred)
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in:
• Insurance prescription processing
• Working in a hospital or medical center pharmacy
• Familiar with insurance claim systems and resubmission procedures
• Knowledge of OTC products, supplements, and pharmacy retail sales
• Ability to perform cross-selling and upselling professionally while maintaining ethical pharmacy practice
• Strong communication skills with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with UAE insurance platforms
• Previous experience in clinic-based pharmacy
• Strong customer service and sales mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 per month
