Madison Park Pharmacy & Wellness Center is located in the beautiful Madison Park community. As an independent pharmacy, we are dedicated to delivering a small-town pharmacy feel to our community through personalized and high-quality care. In addition to our pharmacy team we employ a Naturopathic Doctor, multiple Clinical Herbalists, a Holistic Nutritionist, an Esthetician, as well as a Beauty Expert which allows for extensive collaboration, and ultimately more comprehensive care for our patients. We are one of the few independent pharmacies around and we view this as a huge responsibility. Our patients trust us to deliver them a higher level of service than they'll find elsewhere, especially with the many pharmacy closures occurring in our area.

We are currently looking for a pharmacy assistant, 24-32 hours per week with potential for full-time in the future. WE PAY FOR YOUR FIRST PHARMACY ASSISTANT LICENSE - ALMOST ANYONE IS ELIGIBLE! Duties will include assisting customers; helping patients obtain their prescriptions; answering telephones; assisting pharmacists with projects; receiving merchandise; some custodial work (trash/recycling, some light cleaning, etc.). Some lifting of weights up to 40 pounds. may be required.

Starting pay is $21 or more per hour, depending on experience. We have a bonus program you qualify for after 90 days/400 hours worked that averages about $4 more per hour over the year. We hire for the long term, so we want a good match between our needs and your needs. Please reply with a message indicating:

Qualifications
Previous experience or relevant medical background is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures is helpful. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy is a must. A proactive learner eager to expand expertise in acute care pharmacy practices. A sunny, cheerful personality is absolutely required!

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
