Pharmacy Assistant

As a Pharmacy Assistant at Tallman's Pharmacy you will have the opportunity to provide a level of customer service that is almost unheard of in the current healthcare environment. Tallman's Pharmacy has been taking care of the Walla Walla community for more than 127 years. We are looking for a friendly, hard-working and reliable associate that enjoys helping and working with a fun and energetic staff. Previous retail experience is highly encouraged. The ability to speak Spanish is required. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for ringing out pharmacy customers, attending to patients on the phone, order and stocking OTC medications, assembly and dispensing of medications, bagging prescriptions in will call and preparing them for delivery. This position is difficult, however, it can be extremely rewarding. This is an extremely fast-paced environment and it is critical to be able to multitask We are healthcare professionals that operate in a retail setting. We offer competitive wages and a work schedule that is compatible with life outside of the pharmacy. A Washington State Pharmacy Assistant license is preferred, but not required to apply. It is necessary to have a high school diploma or GED and pass a criminal background check to obtain license from the Washington State Department of Health. On the job training is available for applicants that are able to meet state licensure requirements.

Pay: $17.13 - $19.00 per hour
