Pharmacy Assistant - 3 days/week with future option of full time

Bob Johnson's Pharmacy has been serving North Seattle since 1957. We are one of the last independents in the county and we view this as a huge responsibility. Our patients trust us to deliver them a higher level of service than they'll find elsewhere.

We are looking for a pharmacy assistant, starting at 24 hours per week but with future option of full time. We consider candidates who can only work some of those hours. WE PAY FOR YOUR FIRST PHARMACY ASSISTANT LICENSE - ALMOST ANYONE IS ELIGIBLE!

Duties will include assisting customers; helping patients obtain their prescriptions; answering telephones; assisting pharmacists with projects; receiving merchandise; light cleaning; some custodial work (mostly taking out the trash).

A sunny, cheerful personality is absolutely required!

Starting pay is $21.50 or more per hour, depending on experience. Health insurance and Pension Plan available after 3120 hours of work. We have a bonus program you qualify for after 90 days/400 hours worked that averages about $4 more per hour over the year.

Some lifting of weights up to 40 pounds.
