Pharmacy Assistant & Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Licensed Pharmacy Assistant & Delivery Driver to join our team. This dual-role position involves providing excellent customer service at our pharmacy location while efficiently managing delivery routes. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, and possess strong organizational skills to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction are paramount.

Duties

• Assist pharmacy staff with daily operations, including stocking shelves and managing inventory
• Handle phone calls, refill requests, and patient inquiries courteously
• Organize stock, label medications, and help maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Prepare medication orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Load and unload delivery vehicle
• Safely operate commercial vehicle for route driving and deliveries
• Deliver medications and supplies to customers across designated routes in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
• Follow all safety protocols during loading, unloading, and driving activities
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns professionally

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or route driving preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently during tasks or deliveries
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required; experience operating commercial vehicles is a plus
• Pharmacy Assistant License required
• Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques
• Ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS or route planning tools
• Prior experience as a courier or delivery driver is highly desirable

This position requires a dedicated individual capable of multitasking between pharmacy support duties and efficient route delivery. Candidates should prioritize safety, professionalism, and excellent customer interactions at all times.
