Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service during medication pickup and inquiries
• Process transactions accurately using the pharmacy’s point-of-sale system, ensuring correct billing and payment procedures
• Assist pharmacy staff with medication intake, inventory management, and organization of prescription supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
• Handle patient inquiries regarding medication instructions, insurance questions, or general pharmacy services with professionalism

Requirements

• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patient populations
• Ability to follow aseptic techniques meticulously when handling medications or supplies
• Basic proficiency with pharmacy software systems and point-of-sale technology
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• bi-lingual (Russian/English) is a must
