We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing transactions. This position requires a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and patient care, particularly in a retail setting. The Cashier will be responsible for ensuring accurate medication administration and supporting the overall patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and assisting with medication-related questions. Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking pharmacy supplies as needed.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization in the cashier area to promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to acute care and patient service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Familiarity with pharmacy operations, including medication administration and patient care practices.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmacy and acute care settings is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions and medication orders.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
