Pharmacy Clerk/Technician Position

We are looking for a friendly and goal-oriented pharmacy clerk/technician to work in a busy, fast-paced independent pharmacy. Do not apply if you can't pass a drug test or have past drug charges. Applicant can not have a Medical Marijuana Card and work in a pharmacy per Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy. **MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN A HIGHLY STRESSFUL ENVIRONMENT**

REQUIREMENTS:

• Be detail-oriented and comfortable with technology
• Be able to use a POS system for customer sales and account management
• Be able to comply with HIPAA and state regulations

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Works under direct supervision of pharmacist(s) and operations manager(s)
• Obtains and inputs patient information
• Obtains patients' clinical and prescription coverage information
• Uses pharmacy software to input patient and order information
• Provides quality service to patients and other healthcare providers
• Assists with patient in-take for seasonal and other vaccines
• Assists with managing OTC inventory as directed
• Performs additional related duties as assigned
