Pharmacy Tech Retail Trainee

Are you a high school student or recent graduate interested in healthcare or science? This is your chance to get real-world experience in a pharmacy while learning on the job!

What You’ll Do

As a Pharmacy Tech Retail Trainee, you’ll work alongside licensed pharmacists and pharmacy techs to:

• Learn how to prepare and label medications

• Help customers pick up prescriptions and answer basic questions

• Enter data into pharmacy systems

• Help with ordering, stocking, and organizing medications

• Support special programs like curbside pickup and bedside delivery

You’ll also complete online and in-person training to build your skills and prepare for your Maryland Pharmacy Technician License (which you’ll need within 6 months of starting).

Who Can Apply?

We’re looking for students who are:

• Currently in high school or have a high school diploma/GED

• Eager to learn and grow in a healthcare setting

• Comfortable using computers (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Able to complete online training on their own time

No experience? No problem! We’ll teach you everything you need to know.
