Hours of operation are Monday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm, Tuesday - Friday: 8:00am - 7:00pm, Saturday: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm and Sunday: 9:00am - 1:00pm.

Job Description: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for assisting the pharmacists(s) with various tasks related to the filling/dispensing of prescriptions and caring for pharmacy patients/customers.
Core Competencies & Responsibilities:

Complete necessary pharmacy technician training in a timely fashion

Complete required continuing education annually

Review patient information on the RX 30 system for accuracy

Receive new prescriptions physically from patients

Accept prescription refill authorizations via the telephone or fax

Answer telephone in three rings

Adhere to policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations

Stay compliant with all statutes, rules, and regulations related to pharmacy practice, both federal and state

Monitor reimbursement of prescriptions to achieve optimal gross profit margins

Help manage inventory levels to achieve optimal return on investment

Represent yourself professionally to the community as a Pharmacy Technician

Collect all information needed for billing Medicaid and Medicare for DME, supplies

Help ensure that patients are counseled on all new prescriptions and on any refills
-
Be aware of and support promotional activity within the pharmacy and Home Health Care category

Provide the best possible service to all of our customers

Accurately count and fill prescriptions for all patients

Provide accurate/timely service to customers at the point of sale

Collaborate with team members to ensure everyone is capable of fulfilling all pharmacy related tasks and training other employees

Create a culture of positivity and excitement in the pharmacy/store

Adapt quickly to company changes related to policy and workflow

Clean work area and the pharmacy
