Position Overview:

We're seeking Pharmacy Technicians to efficiently process and fulfill prescriptions under pharmacist guidance. Your role involves ensuring seamless pharmacy operations and delivering exceptional customer service. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are paramount for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

- Aid the Pharmacist in prescription processing, filling, labeling, and dispensing

- Electronically process prescriptions with accuracy and completeness

- Handle prior authorizations and address insurance claim issues

- Maintain medication inventory, including sorting and stocking

- Perform administrative duties as assigned, including record-keeping

- Adhere to security protocols and quality standards

Skills Required:

- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician preferred

- Familiarity with PioneerRX software is advantageous

- Knowledge of medication, dosage measurement, pharmacy law, and medical terminology preferred

- Strong communication and customer service abilities

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

- Completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred

- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is desirable

Pay: $33,280.00 - $41,600.00 per year
