Pharmacy Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a long-term care (LTC) pharmacy setting and be comfortable working with pharmacy management software such as FrameworkLTC.
The primary responsibility for this position is working daily packing and putting away daily orders, other job duties as directed by lead or PIC.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter medication orders, refills, and other prescription information into the pharmacy software system (preferably FrameworkLTC) Review medication orders for completeness and accuracy Collaborate with pharmacists, LTC facility staff, and other pharmacy team members to resolve order-related questions or discrepancies Support processing of cycle fills and emergency orders Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA guidelines Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Current Pharmacy Technician certification and registration (state requirements apply)
Previous experience in a long-term care or institutional pharmacy preferred Familiarity with FrameworkLTC software strongly preferred Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
