Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician will support the Pharmacy by satisfying the needs of customers in a manner that conveys a high level of compassion, furthers the customer's trust and fosters their continued support and referrals. This position will be Full-Time at our 8845 Kennedy Avenue location (Highland) with varying hours Monday-Saturday.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist with all Pharmacy duties, ensuring to adhere to all state and federal regulations as well as all Company policies and procedures.
• Check all prescriptions for accuracy, with no less than 99.5% accuracy obtained, prior to submission for dispensing.
• Use of professional and high-caliber communication skills during all oral and written communication skills with vendors, healthcare professionals, customers, and co-workers.
• Greet customers by name whenever possible. Obtain needed information, in a timely manner, from the customer at the time the prescription is provided - registering new customers and verifying existing customer's information while protecting their PHI per HIPAA regulations.
• Assist customers with both Pharmacy and non-Pharmacy purchases without supervision.
• Handle customer complaints in a caring and efficient manner.
• Follow all inventory control and order procedures and maintenance.
• Accepting, processing, and storing deliveries of medications, over-the-counter items, and other items.
• Assist with Pharmacy maintenance by stocking adequate supplies, keeping all areas clean, neat, and orderly.
• Able to complete additional tasks as requested by Supervisor or Management
