Seeking Licensed Pharmacy Technician who is self-motivated, able to multitask, and possess strong communication skills. Must be fluent in Spanish.
Basic responsibilities will include:
greeting patients and customers in a courteous and professional manner,
maintain a clean and organized work environment,
adhere to patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA,
answer telephones with appropriate greeting and direct patients,
clinic staff and doctors to correct contact,
return medications to stock, and
assist in putting away ordered medications,
manage refills including processing,
faxing or e-scripting doctors office,
mailing out medications,
process prescriptions using SIG codes,
NDC selections and pharmacy calculations-fill,
bubble pack and label medications,
assist the front staff with patients and customers as needed,
and other duties as assigned.
An employee must comply with all federal and state laws, rules and regulations.Candidate must be licensed by the California Board of Pharmacy.
