Pharmacy Technician

Job Purpose:
Full/Part time Pharmacy technician needed to fill prescriptions, assist patients, and process insurance claims.

Duties:
- Call patients to discuss prescription and/or refill information
- Process insurance for prescription claim
- General customer service over the phone for patients
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Paperwork filing and organization of records
- Assist in filling prescriptions
- Comply with all sate and federal laws including HIPAA

Skills/Qualifications:
organized, attentive to detail, dependable, confident, able to speak clearly on the phone

Requirements:

- At least 1 year of previous pharmacy technician experience
- Missouri Pharmacy Technician license in good standing with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 30lbs
- Proficient in computer use including Office and other Windows based software
- Able to pass a background check and random drug screening as required
- Reliable transportation required
