Pharmacy Technician

Great hours! Mon-Fri 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm.

Requirements:

• At least one year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Detail Oriented. Dispensing, Shipping, and packaging require a lot of attention to detail. Making sure the right people get the right medication is imperative to success.
• Teamwork! We are a cohesive unit and communication throughout the day is key to our success.
• Accountability: We all make mistakes. We want someone who owns up to it and grows from it. Taking constructive criticism is something we all pride ourselves on.
• Organized. Organization is key! You'll be given the freedom, with guidance, to set up a good system for you.
• Knowledgeable with computers.
• Pharmacy/healthcare experience would be nice to have but is not required.
• Did we mention excellent attention to detail?

Duties:

• This is not a compounding position, although there may be opportunity to expand into a compounding role.
• Dispense, package and label all outgoing medications, utilizing our software.
• Organize and follow all required instructions based on medication and patient preferences.
• Maintain and order station supplies.
• Organize medications for final pharmacist verification.
• Help front staff with data entry and processing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and understand privacy laws.
• Come in with a great attitude every day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
