Pharmacy Technician

Main Healthcare is an independently owned Long Term Care Pharmacy in Bettendorf, Iowa and North Liberty Iowa. We are seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for our North Liberty location. Hours are: 9 am-5:30 pm Monday-Friday, No weekends or holidays. Our staff places a very high value on quality patient care as well as creating a positive and enjoyable work environment. Experience working as a pharmacy technician is preferred.

Duties include:

-Assist the pharmacist in daily running of basic pharmacy services

-Accurately and efficiently process and package medication in various distribution systems

- Participate in inventory control procedures and restocking

-Assist other Pharmacy Technicians

-General cleaning duties

-Assist in compounding prescriptions

-Answer phone and direct callers to appropriate person/department

Qualifications

-Strong Communications Skills

-Dependable

-Detail Oriented

-Knowledge of computer operations

-High School Diploma or graduate equivalent degree

-2 years of experience is preferred but not required

-Certified Iowa Pharmacy Technician license is preferred but not required
