
Full Job Description:
- In accordance with state and federal regulations, assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy. Responsible for using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

- Provides customers with friendly, fast, and efficient services.
- Assist pharmacists in developing and maintaining good relationships with local community.
- Performs duties as assigned by Pharmacist in Charge, Staff Pharmacist and District Manager including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient, drug, physician and third-party information correctly, verifying patient, drug, physician and third party information and checking for possible interactions and notifying pharmacist, counting, pouring, and packaging pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct.
- Processing third party claims and contacting them with any rejections.
- Conducting telephone calls with customers and physicians that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist.
- Inventory management activities which include unpacking daily orders from pharmaceutical wholesalers, ordering, on-hands check of inventory, returns, re-calls, and inputting claims of order discrepancies.
- Assist in filing of prescriptions, reports, invoices, and other documents.
- Assist in ordering, stocking, and retrieving prescriptions containers (vials, lids, etc.) and other pharmacy supplies.
- Immediately report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty.
- Ability to use math to solve a problem, such as calculating day supply.
- Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Dress in a clean and neat manner with the uniform as noted in the handbook.
Physical Requirements:
- Body Positions: Sitting, Standing, Kneeling, Crouching and Stooping
- Body Movements: Turning head and torso, bending, and flexing arms, writs and fingers; reach with hand and arms, lift or move objects weighing 25lbs.

Requirements:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Must Pass a Background Check and Drug Test
- Pharmacy Experience
- Registered with NCBOP
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
