Pharmacy Technician

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Position Summary:

Technicians are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the equipment. Technicians also provide assistance to the pharmacists in day to day activities. All duties are performed under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Requirements of the Job:

Establish and maintain accurate patient records by entering correct lot numbers and expiration dates of compounded medications.

Data input of patient records, process insurance and handle check out of customers

Maintain proper storage for drugs.

Receive and store incoming supplies and verify quantities against invoices.

Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas

Skills and Experience:

Current C. PhT Certification

Minimum 2 years experience

Knowledge of Pioneer RX helpful

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent math skills

Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions accordingly

Salary DOE; 30-40 hours a week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
