Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. The technician must possess strong communication and organizational skills to support pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications.
• Accurately enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy system.
• Process third-party insurance claims and resolve issues related to billing.
• Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
• Label and package prescriptions with proper documentation.
• Manage inventory and order medications as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones and managing records.
• Comply with all state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and SC Board of Pharmacy laws, as well as company policies and procedures.

· Other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous retail experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• 340B experience preferred.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and drug inventory control.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
