Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary
The Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team by assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring patient safety, and providing exceptional customer service. On the job training provided to be come certified and reimbursement of certification and licensure are available.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory levels, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
• Process prescriptions and manage patient medication records while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Answer phone and triage calls and answer inquiries as appropriate
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace to promote safety and efficiency.

Skills

• MINIMUM: High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years old

DESIRED

• Any previous comparable experience
• Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy clerk

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.10 - $23.10 per hour
