Job Opportunity: Pharmacy Technician

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who values accuracy, and is committed to providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prescription Processing: Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications with high precision.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, process deliveries, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Patient Interaction: Greet patients, intake prescriptions, and handle insurance claims or billing inquiries.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all state and federal pharmacy laws (including HIPAA).
• Administrative Support: Answer phones, manage digital records, and coordinate with healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Certification: Current state Pharmacy Technician registration or national certification (CPhT, preferred).
• Experience: Previous experience in a retail setting and familiar with Yuyama automation is a plus, however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Skills: Basic computer skills, strong mathematical skills for calculating dosages and day supply, proficiency with pharmacy software (Liberty) is a plus. Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 40.0 per week
