We are looking for a , part-time first shift filing technician

Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 8am to 4pm with a possibility of work alternating Saturdays

IPPC a Long Term Care Pharmacy located in Morganville. We are looking for part time or full time Pharmacy Technicians. Candidates must be a team player, with an excellent work record of dependability and punctuality. Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.

As a Pharmacy Technician you will assist Pharmacists with:

Filling, package, label and stocks medications. Fills bottles or other package forms with measured amount of medication either manually or mechanically. Labels containers of drugs according to department specification, either manually or mechanically. Must be familiar with general pharmacy terminology (SIG codes, brand and generic names of medications)Comply with state and federal drug laws, and our policies and procedures. Performs related duties, as required.

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous pharmacy or a health care setting experience preferred.

3. Current New Jersey Pharmacy Technician License preferred. If currently not registered must apply within 10 days of hire.

4. PTCB Certification preferred. If not certified must have the ability and willingness to successfully complete a pharmacy technician certification program with 6 months of practical experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
