Pharmacy Technician

Independent Pharmacy located in St Charles county looking to add a part time technician who is willing to work 9am-1pm on some Saturdays prn

Looking for Licensed Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of 1 year of filling experience.

Compassion, Integrity, Attention to Detail, Dependability, Quality Focus, Proactive, Strong Work Ethic, Team Player, Able to Work Independently.

Must be able to perform computer data entry of prescription information, including but not limited to: patient search, prescriber search, drug selection, prescription interpretation & entry, insurance billing and basic problem solving. Be able to provide high quality customer service to patients and doctors while protecting patient confidentiality.

Assist pharmacists in checking and filling prescriptions, answering questions and requests, responding to and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.

Reliability and good communication skills are necessary for this position. Please provide a list of your available days/hours (the pharmacy is open Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday 9-1 pm Sunday closed) along with your resume. Compounding experience a plus. Certified Pharmacy Technician a plus. Must be able to meet physical demands of job, which can include light lifting, sitting and standing for long periods of time.

Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen along with providing references and work history.
