Pharmacy Technician

Institutional Care Pharmacy is an independent Long Term Care Pharmacy in Tiffin, Ohio. Pharmacy technicians play an important role in providing medications to residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout the state.

ICP is seeking a full-time, day shift Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be a key part of our collaborative team. You’ll bring your skills and expertise to building a service conscious Pharmacy team that consistently looks to exceed expectations, meet needs and provide safe, accurate and efficient care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge in the pharmacy field.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
• Perform medication inventory management and restocking
• Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines regarding medication handling and patient confidentiality
• Complete required training program and accompanying exams

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years old
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
• Pass a criminal background check and pre-employment Drug Screen
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, reliability
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Registered/Certification as a pharmacy technician (preferred but not required)
