Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, including labeling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Manage medication inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, and proper storage to ensure availability and safety.
• Perform intake procedures by collecting patient information, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring all documentation is complete.
• Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and ensuring a positive pharmacy experience.
• Maintain precise records of medication administration, medication reconciliation, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Prior pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication management.
• Demonstrated ability to handle intake processes efficiently while maintaining accuracy under pressure.
• Excellent patient service skills with a focus on patient care and communication.
• Certification as a pharmacy technician where applicable; ongoing education in medical terminology or pharmacy practice is a plus.
