Pharmacy Technician 3 days a week 7:00am-5:30pm

Staff here play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications to in-patients and out-patients. This person will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential to the success in this role. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our patients. This person will work three days a week, 10 hour shifts, 7:00am - 5:30pm and works every 3rd Saturday from 9:00am - 1:00pm.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of High School or equivalent, preferred Pharmacy Technician Associate Degree
• Current Licensed Pharmacy Technician, required
• Experience working in a pharmacy setting
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• 100% on-site work environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electronic health records and pharmacy software.
• Experience with retail or hospital pharmacy processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Manage inventory and ensure medications are properly stored and labeled
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and safety standards

As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will use your strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure medications are dispensed accurately and efficiently.
