Pharmacy Technician 3 days a week 7:00am-5:30pm

Hurry and apply for the Certified Pharmacy Technician position at Memorial Hospitals Pharmacy. Staff here play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications to in-patients and out-patients. This person will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential to the success in this role. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our patients. This person will work three days a week, 10 hour shifts, 7:00am - 5:30pm and works every 3rd Saturday from 9:00am - 1:00pm.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of High School or equivalent, preferred Pharmacy Technician Associate Degree
  • Current Licensed Pharmacy Technician, required
  • Experience working in a pharmacy setting
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • 100% on-site work environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with electronic health records and pharmacy software.
  • Experience with retail or hospital pharmacy processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
  • Manage inventory and ensure medications are properly stored and labeled
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and safety standards

Skills:

As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will use your strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure medications are dispensed accurately and efficiently. Your excellent communication and customer service skills will be essential in providing a positive experience for our patients. You will also use your knowledge of pharmacy regulations and safety standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Additionally, your proficiency in pharmacy software and electronic health records will allow you to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Overall, your skills will be critical in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Medical Insurance offered for $26.00 a payroll.
