Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented (full time) Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least 3 years of experience and a strong background in sterile compounding to join our team. In this position, you will play a vital part in supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Duties

  • Assist pharmacists with checking medications (visualization), data entry, inventory, and other administrative non-mixing tasks etc
  • Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
  • Aseptically compound sterile preparations in various dosage forms
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and organizing medication storage.
  • Participate in patient care initiatives within an acute care setting, collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of previous experience in a pharmacy is strongly preferred
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required
  • ACPE Sterile Certificate is required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
