Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
• Manage medication inventory, ensuring proper storage, stock levels, and expiration
• Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, processing prescriptions, and guiding patients through medication pick-up procedures
• Perform medication intake assessments, verifying prescriptions against medical orders and ensuring accuracy in documentation
• Utilize medical terminology accurately to interpret physician orders and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
• Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensing, patient interactions, and inventory management to ensure regulatory adherence

Experience

• Prior pharmacy technician experience is preferred but not required
• Strong patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
