Pharmacy Technician- Filler

Scripts is a closed door long term care pharmacy focused on servicing assisted living facilities with a majority of mental health patients.

Looking for a full time technician for a medium to fast paced work environment that will have job responsibilities including filling bubble packed medications, call doctors for refill authorizations, putting away the medication order, tending to the dosis robot and refilling the medication canisters.

The job will consist of filling bubble cards/vials and also tending to the robot if the robot requires attention or needs to have the canisters refilled.

A typical day consists of printing morning reports, filling cycle and daily bubble cards/vials, receiving the order from vendor, filling medications that were out of stock, following up on doctor calls and any clarifications, cleaning up and replenishing dosis robot, taking out trash/boxes daily, tidying up the workspace, and organizing al of the fulfilled cards in brown boxes for the pharmacist to final review.

Looking for a hard worker, who works well with others but doesn’t distract other employees and someone is looking to build their career past a pharmacy technician with a future in managing a pharmacy.

Main duties are to bubble pack prescriptions into blister cards.

Must know alphabet well for sorting blister cards by patient.
