Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Wesley Chapel, FL. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to our patients.

Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
Receive and process prescription orders, verifying patient information and insurance details.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and controlled substances.
Manage inventory by ordering, stocking, and organizing medications and supplies.
Provide friendly and professional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
Operate pharmacy equipment and software systems effectively.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred (e.g., PTCB or ExCPT).
Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with pharmacy software and technology.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
