Pharmacy technician full time

Honest Rx is an independent pharmacy that operates under a cost + model. The community is very supportive and the providers love what we are doing and recommend us daily. We do not bill insurance, discount cards, coupons, etc. This frees up our time to actually practice pharmacy and communicate with our patients.

We are looking for a full time Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Honest Rx has a laid back atmosphere where positive interactions are the norm. The successful candidate will put positive energy and effort into the customer interaction; communicating with a friendly attitude with customers and doing all duties with a high level of.. well....Honesty.

Our staff must be punctual and arrive to work when scheduled. Attendance policy is enforced.

Responsibilities:

Ring patients up through the point of sale system. Communicate with patients about their prescriptions. Ensure accuracy and safety of medication orders. Prepare medication orders for review by a pharmacist before the are dispensed. Communicate with other healthcare professionals and patients to ensure optimal patient care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19-$21 per hour

Schedule: No weekends, Monday-Friday 9-6

Staunton, VA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
