Responsibilities
Prepare and dispense medications accurately for inpatient care.
Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy.
Monitor and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors.
Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventories.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
Assist in the training and mentoring of new pharmacy staff.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
Assist in inventory management and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies.
Utilize pharmacy software for medication dispensing and record management.
Assist in the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.
Experience/Qualifications
Proven experience as a pharmacy technician in an inpatient setting.
Commitment to continuous professional development and training.
Strong knowledge of medication dispensing and pharmaceutical regulations.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with healthcare teams.
Ability to monitor and report medication errors effectively.
Experience with pharmacy software for medication management.
Strong attention to detail in maintaining patient records.
Ability to provide excellent customer service to patients.
Experience in mentoring or training new pharmacy staff.
Willingness to participate in quality improvement initiatives.
