Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Inventory Technician
to support the operational efficiency of our pharmacy by maintaining, organizing, and tracking all drug and supply inventory. This role plays a key part in keeping pharmacy workflow running smoothly by ensuring that all materials, equipment, and supplies are available, organized, and accessible when needed.
This is a non-dispensing role and does not involve any prescription fulfillment activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Sourcing & Purchasing

Source and purchase drugs, supplies, and operational materials required for pharmacy workflows.

Monitor stock levels and proactively reorder to avoid shortages or delays.

Track incoming shipments and communicate expected delivery timelines.

Inventory Management & Retrieval

Receive, label, and organize inventory within the warehouse according to storage requirements and safety guidelines.

Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.

Fulfill inventory retrieval requests from pharmacy staff and deliver materials to designated workstations as needed.

Facility Support & Equipment Handling

Assemble and set up workflow-related equipment and supplies for staff use.

Organize and maintain workspace cleanliness.

Dispose of packaging and waste materials as needed to support a clean and safe work environment.

Assist with layout updates, equipment rearrangement, and stocking of workstations.

Process Improvement & Coordination

Collaborate with operations and compounding staff to identify and resolve inventory-related issues.

Suggest improvements to inventory storage, tracking, or replenishment processes to support efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or related certification preferred.

Prior experience in inventory, logistics, warehouse, or pharmacy operations is strongly preferred.

Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be on your feet or moving throughout the day.

Forklift certification, or the ability to obtain certification in a timely manner

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Familiarity with basic purchasing systems or inventory software is a plus.

Dependable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Competitive pay: Starting at $18 per hour and based on experience and technician certification level + $3.50/hour 2nd shift differential
