Job Overview
We are seeking a Hybrid Pharmacy Technician whose primary focus will be medication adherence outreach. This role combines remote patient outreach with in-pharmacy support. You will help patients stay on track with their medications through proactive calls, refill coordination, and direct support, while also assisting the pharmacy team onsite as needed.

This position plays an important role in strengthening patient relationships and improving health outcomes within the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound adherence calls to patients to review refills, confirm therapy continuation, and identify barriers to adherence
• Document patient interactions accurately within their medical record
• Coordinate refill processing and support pharmacist workflow both remotely and onsite
• Assist with in-pharmacy operations, including prescription processing and general workflow support
• Communicate professionally with patients, prescribers, and healthcare offices
• Process and troubleshoot third-party prescription claims as needed
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including Florida Board of Pharmacy requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred, particularly in a retail or community pharmacy setting
• Strong phone communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Ability to work independently during remote hours while maintaining productivity and accountability
• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician registration required; certification preferred but not mandatory
• Comfortable balancing remote responsibilities with in-pharmacy team collaboration
• Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and ongoing development

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
