Pharmacy Technician Evening Shift Position Summary
Correct Rx Pharmacy Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support operations at the Pharmacy Distribution Center (PDC) in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy or designee, this role is responsible for supporting daily pharmacy operations, medication preparation and packaging, inventory management, sterile compounding activities, and automated dispensing technology operations serving multiple healthcare facilities throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Essential Responsibilities
· Verify receipt of medication deliveries and review for accuracy
· Support automated dispensing machines and carousel technology operations
· Maintain pharmacy inventory levels and communicate medication stock needs appropriately
· Accurately load medications into automated dispensing equipment
· Monitor stock-outs, expiration dates, and medication rotation processes
· Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding activities
· Repackage bulk medications into unit-dose packaging safely and accurately
· Assist with medication room and unit inspections
· Support medication order entry and inventory documentation activities
· Maintain clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy work areas
· Participate in departmental meetings, education, and quality improvement initiatives
· Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to support safe and timely medication distribution
· Maintain compliance with all state, federal, facility, and company policies and procedures
· Perform additional pharmacy support duties as assigned
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred
· Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License required
· PTCB certification preferred or ability to obtain certification
· Institutional or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
· IV compounding experience preferred
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
· Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications preferred
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule
Full-time
40 hours per week
Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays
Evening shift schedules between 1:30 PM and 12:00 AM
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
