Job Title: Pharmacy Technician – Oncology/Outpatient
Location: Canton, GA
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support operations in an outpatient oncology pharmacy setting. This role involves assisting pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory management while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications
• Accurately package and label pharmaceuticals
• Support medication distribution and delivery processes
• Maintain inventory, including controlled substances and specialty medications
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
• Support multiple pharmacy functions, including:
  • Production and distribution
  • Oncology pharmacy services
  • Inventory management
  • Narcotics handling
  • Compounding
  • Outpatient services
• Provide patient-centered support across all age groups (neonate to geriatric)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Active Pharmacy Technician registration in the state of Georgia
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication handling
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
