Pharmacy Technician – Job Description
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medicines and preparing prescriptions accurately.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiry monitoring of medicines.
- Handle billing, labeling, and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
- Provide basic guidance to customers regarding medicine usage as instructed by the pharmacist.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper storage of medicines according to healthcare standards.
- Receive and record medicine deliveries from suppliers and maintain documentation.
- Support daily pharmacy operations and customer service activities.
- Follow safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance procedures in the pharmacy.
Pharmacy Technician – Job Specifications
- Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Technician or relevant field.
- 1–2 years of pharmacy or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of medicines, prescriptions, and inventory handling.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and manage workload efficiently.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and billing systems is an advantage.
Pharm-D – Job Description
- Review and dispense prescriptions while ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Provide counseling to patients regarding medication usage, dosage, side effects, and precautions.
- Monitor drug interactions, contraindications, and medication therapies.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure proper storage of medicines and controlled drugs.
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, pharmacy laws, and company policies.
- Supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacy technicians and assistants.
- Maintain patient records, prescription logs, and pharmacy documentation.
- Participate in healthcare awareness and patient education activities.
Pharm-D – Job Specifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid pharmacist license/registration required.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, dosages, and patient counseling.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in retail or hospital pharmacy environments.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office.
Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
