Pharmacy Technician – Job Description

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medicines and preparing prescriptions accurately.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiry monitoring of medicines.
• Handle billing, labeling, and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
• Provide basic guidance to customers regarding medicine usage as instructed by the pharmacist.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper storage of medicines according to healthcare standards.
• Receive and record medicine deliveries from suppliers and maintain documentation.
• Support daily pharmacy operations and customer service activities.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance procedures in the pharmacy.

Pharmacy Technician – Job Specifications

• Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Technician or relevant field.
• 1–2 years of pharmacy or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medicines, prescriptions, and inventory handling.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and manage workload efficiently.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software and billing systems is an advantage.

Pharm-D – Job Description

• Review and dispense prescriptions while ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
• Provide counseling to patients regarding medication usage, dosage, side effects, and precautions.
• Monitor drug interactions, contraindications, and medication therapies.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure proper storage of medicines and controlled drugs.
• Coordinate with doctors and healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions and treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, pharmacy laws, and company policies.
• Supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacy technicians and assistants.
• Maintain patient records, prescription logs, and pharmacy documentation.
• Participate in healthcare awareness and patient education activities.

Pharm-D – Job Specifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) degree from a recognized institution.
• Valid pharmacist license/registration required.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, dosages, and patient counseling.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in retail or hospital pharmacy environments.
• Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office.

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
