Location: Tewksbury, MA

Schedule: Full Time; In-Person; Day Shift; May Involve Weekends

Pay Range: $23–$24 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician – Purchasing/Inventory to support pharmacy operations by managing medication inventory. This role focuses on receiving inbound medication deliveries, organizing stock, monitoring inventory levels, and preparing replenishment orders to ensure consistent medication availability.

Key Responsibilities

· Receive and process medication shipments from the primary drug wholesaler

· Verify deliveries for accuracy and report discrepancies or damages

· Sort, label, and properly store medications following pharmacy procedures

· Review current on-hand inventory balances using inventory systems

· Build carts and prepare replenishment inventory orders based on par levels and usage

· Rotate stock and maintain an organized, clean inventory area

· Support inventory counts, audits, and related documentation

· Follow all pharmacy policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration

· Ability to accurately handle medications and follow written procedures

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

· Previous pharmacy or inventory experience

· Familiarity with pharmacy inventory or ordering systems

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift medication totes or boxes

· Ability to work in pharmacy storage and refrigerated areas as needed

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
