Job Summary

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the development and validation of curriculum for Pharmacy Technician lab courses. This role is ideal for a licensed Pharmacist or RN/MSN with strong clinical expertise in medication administration, compounding, aseptic techniques, and pharmacy lab procedures, along with experience in teaching or curriculum development for pharmacy technician programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review lesson plans, lab activities, and assessments for pharmacy technician lab courses
• Ensure curriculum is accurate, clinically relevant, and aligned with PTCB/certification standards
• Validate content related to medication dosing, compounding, aseptic technique, and pharmacy operations
• Collaborate with instructional designers and faculty to improve course delivery
• Ensure compliance with state/federal pharmacy regulations, safety, and accreditation standards
• Participate in curriculum updates and quality reviews

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist (preferred) OR RN/MSN with strong pharmacology/medication administration experience
• Hands-on experience with pharmacy lab procedures, compounding, aseptic techniques, and medication preparation
• Experience teaching or developing curriculum for Pharmacy Technician programs
• Knowledge of PTCB/certification exam competencies
• Strong understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and pharmacy regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with online learning platforms or virtual lab instruction
• Familiarity with ABHES, ACPE, or equivalent accreditation standards

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
