Pharmacy Technician/TYPIST

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in providing excellent patient care within a hospital setting. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and medication administration, particularly in acute care environments.

Duties

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in medication preparation and administration.
• Provide patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on medication usage.
• Operate pharmacy equipment and manage inventory levels of medications and supplies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements and hospital policies related to pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
• Experience working in a retail pharmacy
• Proficiency in medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
