Role Overview
We’re looking for a Pharmacy Typist to join our remote operations team.
In this role, you’ll transcribe and verify prescription information with precision, ensuring data integrity and patient safety across our pharmacy systems. You’ll collaborate closely with pharmacists and operations teams to maintain compliance and operational accuracy.

Requirements:
What You’ll Do

• Accurately type and enter prescription data into pharmacy management systems.
• Verify medication names, dosages, and patient information with exceptional accuracy.
• Review handwritten and electronic prescriptions for completeness and compliance.
• Flag discrepancies or missing information to supervising pharmacists.
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and data confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate remotely with pharmacists, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure timely order processing.
• Uphold productivity, accuracy, and compliance standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (required).
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical terminology and prescription structure.
• Typing speed of 60+ WPM with high accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and data verification skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment, aligning with U.S. Pacific Time hours.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, medical transcription, or healthcare documentation role is a plus.
